How to repair or fix your old ram ?

Are you tired of replacing your rams. Do you know that you can even repair your rams. 

You can repair any type of rams like DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, etc. But it should not be physically damaged such as burned like this one.

Mostly your ram maybe looking good like a new but you maybe wondering why it is not working. Your computer may fail to boot and you will be scratching your head.


So here's what you need you. I found this method on my own and today I'm sharing with you.

Materials required:

• A cloth may be silk cloth or micro-fiber cloth ( the one which you use to clean your specs)
  
  
• A solution to clean like vinegar,  ethyl alcohol, or you can even use your saliva (believe me it works).
  
  Method:
  
• Now add few drops of cleaning solution on the golden plate area of your ram on both sides (Front and Back).
  
• Now place your cloth and rub it as fast and hard as much as you can.
                     
• Rub for around 3-5 min.

How this method works ?

Some times your ram may stop working due to the accumulation of dust.The dirt interrupts the contact of the golden plate with the connectors

•  So when you rub with the cloth and solution you will clean all the dust and it will flash like a new.
• Due to the friction created by rubbing it will produce heat and static electricity which makes it to run like a champ.
  Warning:
• Do not insert your ram if it is wet. You should insert your ram only when it is completely dry.
• Wipe carefully you may damage and remove other SMD components if you are so hard.
